My music is full of ambient sounds and recordings that are difficult to feel if you don’t pay enough attention
Something I really enjoy when listening to music is to investigate and discover what’s hidden in it. That practice of anonymity is something that IDM, Braindance and 90s artists made a lot.
An experience beyond music, spending a whole day or even more listening to tracks and following its clues to discover more things for understanding better what is behind them. Feeling different sounds and details each time you listen the same song over the years. Playing an album and really enjoying it.
The audio recordings are really important on this album. They complement each track and consolidate the idea and concept behind the album.
I usually take my handy recorder and go out to the streets to record all the sounds that I will use later in my tracks. Trains, subways, people and friends talking, nature, daily routine… many sounds complement each track and strengthen my music.
